Please guys i am desperate for a answer...need help?

nowadays i have craze for hula hooping .To be frank i never did hula hooping before my little cousin bought it few days back ,i tried that on her hula hoop and was successful in making 40 rounds....i know not a big achievement .i am 15.now i love hula hooping but my friend says its out of fashion.is it so???and the hula hoop which is available near my place is plastic tubing and multicoloured....do you think that is childish????please answer my doubts...plz
