Why is the U.S so eager to get its fat nose into other countries' afairs when it fails at solving its own?

the trillions spent in the so called "war on terrorism" could've been used on things like health care or education or job creation. The national debt barrier has been breached and still the States are suggesting that we should but into libya or Pakistan. Look at yourself first before being superhero.
