Trying to become fit/a runner?

i am looking to take up running (as well as other exercises) as a hobby this summer bc well i kinda let myself go when i quit doing sports. i need a beginners training schedule that is realistic and a bit flexible. when i run outdoors there is only sidewalks or street to run on unless i drive to the beach. my city has a ymca with a pool, track and a ton of weight machines and cardio machines, that's what i have to work with...im pretty open minded to exercises like hula hooping and what not. i would like to be able to run 10 miles non stop by august so far i can only run 1ish. im 200lbs if that matters for a more personal schedule.
