U.S. Navy SEALs vs. U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations?

How are the duties performed by these two units similar, and how are they different? After all, they both seem to specialize in special maritime warfare, counter-terrorism, direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, and and unconventional warfare.
