JTF2 is ranked as one of the best special operations units on this planet. JTF2 has operated in 5 (or more) continents. Made in 1992, JTF2 recruits the most elite soldiers, sailors and airmen into the unit. The pass rate is one of the lowest in the world - 10%. JTF2 is infamous for it's operations in Afghanistan. JTF2 is credited with eliminating an entire generation of Taliban leadership in Afghanistan. Also, JTF2 was the only foreign unit accepted to join American Tier 1 SOF (Delta Force and SEAL Team 6) in Task Force 11 to hunt high valued targets. Also in Task Force K-Bar which was a Task Force of 8 other nation's Tier 1 SOF, the commander of the Task Force Navy SEAL capt. Robert Haward stated JTF2 was his first choice for direct action missions as he chose them over the 8 other nation's units and even his own SEALs. Even before the war started in Afghanistan, they have been doing black operations in many countries - to name a few: Afghanistan (before the war started), Colombia, Peru, Tasmania, Central Africa, Spain, Rwanda, Bosnia and Kosovo. They are among the elite of the elite.
